Lightpainting

I have long been fascinated by photography’s relationship to time. In these portraits, I work in darkness, moving small light sources across the body during a single exposure. The resulting images gather multiple moments into one frame, allowing the body to exist in overlapping times and spaces. What appears is not a record of a single instant, but a composite formed through duration—an image shaped by movement, accumulation, and delay.
